So then she turned around,
And said with a sad smile,
"I'm sorry I have to end this,
I was hoping you'd stay for awhile."

Then she stood on her toes,
And gently kissed his lips,
He embraced her,
The tears started to fall.

"Baby, it's okay,"
She whispered in his ear,
"Your the one for me,
Babe, can't you see?"

"Then why are you letting me go?"
He asked, falling to his knees.

"Because I love you,
Come with me please?"

He followed her to the old couch,
Sat down still in tears,
"Why are you doing this?" he asked,
His eyes full of fear.

"I wanna tell you that I love,
And I'll never leave your side,
This was all a test,
To see if you lied.

All them guys out there,
Are bound to break your heart,
But seeing you shed those tears,
Make's me know we'll never part."

He smiled through the tears,
And pushed away the pain,
He held her in his arms,
Feeling her close again.
