I don't know what to do,
I almost chose the gun.

But then I met a guy,
And he became my best friend.
And let me promise you,
This story has an end.

We used to talk all the time,
We'd stay up every night.
Surprisingly, we never even had one single fight.

It was then the day I met three guys,
All who became my best friends.
We laughed and talked, day and night,
It became our daily trend.

Things were going perfect,
And they brightened up my mood.
Let me tell you,
I had no idea what I got into.

One friend was imprisoned,
And then the next let me go.
Another moved out of town,
The last just put on a show.

So as I promised you,
This story does end.
I was back to the worthless depressed girl,
Lost with nowhere to go.

So as I write this poem,
There's one more thing you should know.
Don't leave a girl who needs you,
And loves you with all her heart.

Don't let her feel worthless,
And please don't break her heart.

What it all comes down to,
Is never hurt a girl.
'Cause if I had just one friend,
Next time they see me... I'll be dead.

I'm kinda emo with love

Yesterday I lost a friend,
One of the closest I've had.
We used to laugh and talk and cry,
He meant everything.

He helped me through all my hard times,
Was always there when I was sad.
But yesterday it changed it all,
And I really am glad.

I thought I was a true friend,
Someone to trust and talk too.
Something split us apart,
And it didn't matter to you.

I sat there and cried,
Knowing I needed you.
But you just texted my best friend,
And laughed throughout the night.

So I guess what I'm saying is,
I'm glad you're out of my life.
Yeah, you were always there for me,
But I meant N.O.T.H.I.N.G to you.

You told me you loved me,
And that was all that mattered,
Until you broke me down,
And my heart completely shattered.

When you look at someone, the first thing you see is their physical features. When really, you should get to know someone, talk to them and see what they're really all about... Maybe they'll be different than you expected... In a good way, or a bad way. But what it all comes down to is: no one is who they appear to be. They're just what people want them to be. When really, they should be who they really are... It'll make a huge difference... and who knows... maybe it'll make an impact on someone else's life as well. So let who you are show, and don't hide behind a mask... Be yourself no matter what anyone else thinks.

Yesterday you loved me,

About 300 miles away.

I can feel the happiness within.

A year later he takes my hand,
And asks me to marry him.
Your name doesn't appear in my head,
But it does on the guest list.

You show up at my wedding,
You hug me and hold me tight.
I smile as I stare at your face,
Asking if you're alright.

You say you're fine,
But miss what you lost,
Then congratulate me,
With your broken heart.

I listen to their warnings,

I go sit in silence,

After hours of conversation,

I lay down beside you,

The way her eyes shimmer in the light,
brings a smile to my face,
and I never want to loose this sight,
while I still have her close to me.

When we touch,
sparks fly through the sky.
We stay together forever,

Her singing is one of a kind,
I could listen to her day and night.

He's gorgeous.
The way his eyes light up when he sees me.
He stares down at me, and his cute smile enters his face.
His blondish hair falls into his eyes.

His whispers “I love you”,
So quietly only I could hear.
A tiny giggle escapes my lips as I stare into his eyes.
We both laugh under our breathe.

He pulls me closer, hugging me tight.
I bury my face in his shoulder, I feel safe.
He runs his hand down my arm and takes my hand.
He's skin was so warm, against my cold hands.

He smells amazing.
The smell of axe lingers on his clothes.
It seems you could get high off his scent,
Just by being near.

I'm never gonna be good enough, am I? It's constant heart ache, feeling like I'm gonna puke, having a hard time breathing, crying... It's not worth it... Yet I love you so much and I just can't seem to let go... Please, show me you care... Or help me find the strength to let go... If you really loved me... You'd stop causing me this pain...

You come over, but don't hang out with me. You leave, and don't say bye to me. I say something, and you tell me I'm annoying and that you don't care. I've made promises, and I kept them, you broke all of yours. I could never even think about cheating on you, but you asked me if you could cheat on me with someone, who I would let it be. You tell me I'm lazy and I'm on my laptop all the time, but when you come over, it's Facebook, Halo, or Runescape almost all day. Today, you got mad at me for making one comment, and grabbed my arm and bruised it... I just don't know anymore... =[

Sometimes I wonder how people make it through life... And then I realize... There's gotta be one person keepin' you alive... I've got 2..

This was all a test,
To see if you lied.

All them guys out there,
Are bound to break your heart,
But seeing you shed those tears,
Make's me know we'll never part."

He smiled through the tears,
And pushed away the pain,
He held her in his arms,
Feeling her close again.

When you have a sweet guy, he'll call you pretty or beautiful. He'll kiss you on the cheek, and on the lips. He'll hug you. He'll talk to you when your sad. He'll do anything for you. Trust me, you'll know when you've got a sweet guy. But then there's the chance of getting a guy who doesn't give a shit, and he'll tell you your hot, try to make out with you all the time, barely hug you, when your sad he'll ignore you and tell you your annoying, and he won't do shit for you...
