You promised you wouldn't fight,
But there you go,
I have to scream into the night,
"Leave him alone!
Just shutup!
Don't you even dare fight!"
"Babe, I'm trying to make a truce," you say,
"Just stop it," I say, then walk away,
You said you wouldn't fight,
Apparently you lied,
How am I supposed to trust you,
If you lie all the time?
You came up behind me,
Wrapped your arms around me,
"Where are you going?" you ask,
And I turned around,
I looked you in the eyes,
Afraid I'd start to cry,
Then buried my face in your shoulder,
And let out a sigh,
You hugged me tight,
Held me close,
"I'm sorry," you whispered,
It wasn't a joke,
Then your cousin came up behind me,
Wrapped his arms around both of us,
And screamed, "Group hug!"
Everyone surrounded us,
With happiness and love,
A huge smile spread on my face,
As I had to show I'm fine,
Then your cousin swayed back and forth,
We all started to fall,
I hit the ground,
Laughter all around,
As our group hug fell down.
You took my hand and pulled me up,
Asked if I was alright,
I laughed and said I was fine,
As another group hug grew tight =)
